Hours of operation
We are open every Monday from 3-6 p.m. for casual play and questions; every Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. for group classes, and 7-10 p.m. for tournaments; every Wednesday from 1:30-6 p.m. for group classes; and Every Thursday from 4-6 p.m. for group classes. On Fridays we have an instructor on site for private lessons from around 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. We normally hold events almost every Saturday but start times and duration vary, so check the event calendar.

Prizes: 1st Place overall will receive 50 percent of the entry fees. Under 1600 rated highest scoring player will receive a prize of 30 percent of the entry fees. Prize category based on USCF quick rating.
Ratings: USCF Quick rated event.
Grandmaster Larry Christiansen will give a lecture and simul at the TCC on Sept. 26, 2020, starting at 6 p.m. Cost is $25 per player. The number of seats will be limited to 12 players so register early. If you are interested, call the club at 469.835.4551 to reserve a seat.
Four rounds of rated G/30 games vs. a rival junior club from the San Diego area. It will consist of three quads and be played for a trophy. Our roster has been set and the match will begin at 11 a.m. All participants will be age 14 or under. Event will be continued every three months to renew the friendly competition.
